Thank you for your reply L. Liz Cheney is fighting for the survival of the GOP. I think it's a lost cause. Apparently the tide is with the QANON HATE GROUPS and INSURRECTIONIST WHITE SUPREMACISTS. She is gambling her political life for the right reason and so I salute her. Shame on the opposition but what do you expect from vermin?

Continue to loose the majority?   Reps lost no seats in the House. 
Senate is 50/50 hardly a majority.  

50/50 is a majority if the Vice President votes with the Democrats, which she will.  Maybe the problem is that every vote is along party lines rather than for what is beneficial to the country.

60 is required to get anything done in Senate. 50/50 only helps them for amendments to bills and reconciliation bills. 

Yes I believe we should keep it that way. It forces some compromise. 

I do not believe most party line votes are not based on what each believes is good for the country. Each side believes different things are good for the country. 

But both sides have to compromise at some point or absolutely nothing gets done.  

As long as we keep the Filibuster.   It will be crazy if they get rid of it.

There shouldn't be a need for a filibuster.  We elect and pay these people to do the work of the people, not read thousands of pages to avoid doing their jobs.

That is why we have the Filibuster.  It makes them have to work together to pass something and weeds the craziness out of it. 

Your will of what you elect someone to pass is often the opposite of what my will is...but with the filibuster who ever is in charge still has to compromise with the minority.
