What would you do in this circumstance? Has it ever actually happened to you?

You are hosting a party having invited folks you like of course. One guest shows up with someone you would never invite nor do you like. Are you gracious and fake it through the night and never say a word to that guest? Do you scold the guest later? Or do you just think dark thoughts but never mention it? Do you invite that guest back to your home again?

    We were having a cookout a few years ago and I invited my sister and brother-in-law. He decided to bring a couple of his family members and a friend I had never met. I was annoyed, but they were pleasant and we had a good time.
