Is it true that since 1961 66 million private-sector jobs were created, 42 million of which were under a Democratic president?

If that is true then it is also true that the Democratic Party is the Jobs Party despite what Republicans tell you.

There are too many factors to consider. Population growth, racial changes, gender gap etc. Pinning one factor as the reason for jobs growth is not possible and just because it happened when the Dems were in power is coincidence. Just my opinion.

  • Governments ceased having any power over economies as soon as they deregulated.
The rhetoric about jobs is snake-oil salesmanship.

  • The claims, the statistics themselves are lies, irrespective of which government or party makes the claims.
Because it was not the government that created the jobs. Nor did the government create the economic conditions that made those jobs come into existence. It couldn't because it has been powerless to have any effect whatsoever on ecomonics ever since deregulation of the financial systems under which business now operates. The banks are the ones with all the control.
