Saying "it can't be done" without ever even trying doesn't sit so well with me. Does it "sit well" with thee?

You have a new job. You see how the way things are being done can be improved and so you begin.

But then you are faced with the same old same old same old.

"If there were a better way of doing it we would be doing it."

Period.

Seriously. Ever had to face that? How did you handle it?
