Thomas Dartmouth Rice (1808-1860) put on BLACKFACE and became Jim Crow...a singing dancing simpleton. Used to entertain white racists. Mocking blacks and played to the racist bigotry of that time. How the whites adored the mockery. LOUD and PROUD and IN CROWDS they clamored for more.
Civil rights reared its ugly head. Martin Luther King Jr. tried to OVERCOME. The white racists slithered back into scum and mud for awhile.
Joyful news. RACIST BIGOTRY is back again 100%. You don't see the blackfaces. They wouldn't blacken up no matter how funny they could be.
