Do you think an employee is OBLIGATED to follow the rules/precedent and maintain the integrity of the process in his/her job? Why?

Those of you  who think Comey did the right thing are missing the point completely. He mavericked his way out of following the usual FBI protocol. 30 days before an election the FBI is supposed to refrain from releasing ANY INFORMATION that could change the outcome of an election. Both Republican and Democratic former FBI agents were unanimous in condemning him for breaking precedent. UNANIMOUS! Could you keep your job if you did such a thing?

  • Oh so he didn't follow the protocol of handing out special treatment and protecting a Washington insider from consequences.   What a bad man, a very bad man.

You greatly disappoint me Glis. You have it completely backwards. Completely missing the point.  Both Republican and Democratic ex-FBI agents say what Comey did was unprecedented and wrong. The only people who think he did the right thing are people like you who apparently hate Hillary so much anything goes. Additionally Comey has refused to say anything about the FBI investigation currently going on in which they are investigating the hacks of the Dem files specifically with the view of finding out how Russia was involved. Comey said it is too close to the election to say anything about THAT investigation but he has no problem leaking info about the new emails 11 days before the election that MAY BE PERTINENT to Hillary's previous email problems. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT  IS ON THEM YET. Now this computer belonged to sexually perverted sleazeball pedophile Anthony  Weiner. His wife Huma Abedeen used it apparently to send some emails to Hillary. No one knows what they contain. They were found while investigating the sleazeball Weiner because he faxed a picture of his penis to a 15-year-old girl which makes him a Pedophile! That is what was being investigated. They happened upon the emails in question. Before they even got a search warrant Comey wrote that letter to Congress. He is being castigated/criticized/attacked by all those affiliated with the FBI and the history of the department and the protocol and the precedent. He is indeed according special  treatment of a deleterious nature to Hillary. Not a word should have been said at all. WE KNOW Russia was involved with the hacking and the leaks to Wikileaks.  WE KNOW THAT. But Comey refuses to comment on THAT. He writes a letter to Congress about something HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT WHATSOEVER. It's okay to comment on that. And that's okay with you. As I said..you greatly disappoint me. Thank you for your reply. This post was edited by RosieG at November 1, 2016 4:06 AM MDT

You say that, then there is people like you who defend this women no matter what she does.
