Do kids still go trick-or-treating or do they just stay at home on their iPhones/iPads/whatever instead of going outside?

Silly goose. They hold trick-or-treat at the mall now. 

Not really.   Chicken little parents don't like it anymore.   They rather heard their children in some school gymnasium or what have you in the middle of the day in some lame excuse for a Halloween celebration. ( Ahem I mean , Fall/harvest/ whatever they want to call it now because you know......  Cultural sensitivity and Halloween bees too scawy.)

The kids in my neighborhood just send drones out to pick up their candy.
