The older I get and farther away from what really happened the harder it is to differentiate experiencing from observation. Meaning?

Did I really experience it or just see it in a movie or on TV?

Some things are unforgettable. Some things? I'm not sure if I read it or saw it or felt it. Are you always sure about everything all the time no matter how old you are vis a vis your memories?
