If the Caldor fire burns Tahoe down to the ground will Reno be next?

    As you wind your way down the east side of the Sierras, there is less and less fuel to burn (there's a reason why Nevada's not known for its lush forests).  Eventually the fire WILL run out of fuel.  No one wants it to go that far, as there's a lot of beauty between where it is now and the point where the fuel is finally exhausted. ...  and it's all now under evacuation warnings or mandatory evacuation orders.

    No one EVER even imagined they'd see something like this!  It's mind-numbing.  

    And the winds that cleared much of the smoke from california is turning the fire into a blowtorch. It's already cleared the crest and is now staring down the other side.  There is NOTHING anyone can do to stop it.  The fire is largely fuel driven. The winds are but an "added bonus".  The only plus is that it can't burn granite.
