Identity that sets you apart from the many is non-existent. You are what you believe and you believe what your group/party believes and you melt into that and act as part of the whole. You disappear so you don't make waves/stand out/disagree. Individuals used to be heralded/celebrated/honored. Now? Well few dare to see what happens when they refuse to be swallowed up by an ideology. There are closet individuals here and there of course. There always will be. But the group rules. The ideology runs everything. SIGH.
