Do you welcome that wonderful sound "ER", now considered by Media to be the new authoritative professional method of delivering the News?

Here are two examples of the sound "er" professionally inserted into your news delivery, from France 24 English:

    I find that very irritating.  If you don't know what you're gong to say, don't be interviewed.  Tony Bliken was on Face the Nation this past Sunday and I wanted to slap him.

    Contributor SpunkySenior appears to be erring here, since I have listened to the video, but the gentlemen in question seems by no means to be guilty of inserting the sound "ER", but rather appears to be inserting "AH".

    Which is worse?
    Inserting numerous "ER" into communicating, or inserting numerous "AH"?
