How long ago did your reasons turn into excuses?

    About 20 years ago when I accidentally left them sitting on the kitchen counter overnight.  (I had to throw them all out and start over.)

    Well, a reason starts out to be a valid point in doing or not doing something.  Once the "reason" is no longer valid the thing is used as an excuse not to do or do something.
