I just made my first corned beef ever. My friend (RIP) made the best corned beef I've ever had. Used beer like she did but mine didn't turn out as good as hers. Mine taste like corned beef, the kind in a can. There must be a secret to excellent corned beef. I used 7 bottles of blue moon beer and cooked it for 6 hours. It was a 3 lb flat. Any comments?
