  • The art of communication can be something of a balancing act...

  • I hate to think .. The AO tent could be interesting ... But best discussed within the confines of the adult section me thinks

  • I was imagining people posting jokes (clowning),
    giffs (mime),
    ping ponging riposts (juggling)
verbal acrobatics (Randy D when he's in the mood),
telling stories ( the cirque de Soleil always uses a theme or narrative for each show,)
being inventive and playful in all forms.

    Wha???

    Does not compute.

Maybe Comedy Central for Muggers.  I can't see the rest.

  • Post(s) - verbal, pictorial, video, audio - which are fun for those who post, those to whom the posts are directed, and the rest of us viewers, would be the answerMug equivalent.

A strong exception I take is to extended frivolous conversations between two or a very small group of muggers, which detract, and distract, from the main theme of the discussion. Unfortunately, as in a circus, we have to endure the items we don't really enjoy with those we do very much.

  • I remember I took part in one of those once. Fun at first but then my interest waned. Since then tend to mostly ignore them.
Mainly prefer it when the exchanges have a bit more substance.

  • Many are downright silly.

  • Yep. Some of the sillinesses are endearing, like watching baby animals at play.

  • I won't argue with that. Some of the clowns I feel great fondness for.

The critics will be waiting to judge based on their own perceptions.

It's not the nature of such a place or community as here. I'm not contributing to be part of a grande circus to be judged by others. They can, and will think their thing around me and the threads I take part in already. That's fine, but I'm not an act. I interact with those I feel like, and in the ways I feel like and won't let others dictate me with their critics...

    Your typical critic...
