You hurt your country when do what you are supposed to do and without using your freedom to choose what you want or think is best to do. The freedom to vote is meaningless without the freedom not to vote.
When the two parties select candidates that are so awful and flawed it makes a significant number of citizens choose not to vote and/or want to vote. It's not the non-voting citizens who are hurting the country. It's the political parties and their endorsed candidates that are hurting the country.
There is no excuse for not learning about the issues m2c. NONE. Just as there is no excuse for not voting. NONE. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee! :)
