This is what Pence said at a rally that caused the RNC to say Pence didn't know what he was talking about.
"l will tell you that the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee are working very very closely with state governments and secretary of states all over the country to ensure ballot integrity". Well that would be illegal so the RNC called him out on it and threw him under the bus.
Last summer Kelly Ann Conway told the Washington Post that the RNC is involved in "ballot integrity". The RNC said she was "mistaken". Did she make it up or believe it?
Pence apparently walked it back when he was called out on it.
I don't know if Conway admitted she was wrong and walked it back or just ignored it.
Whatever they do they cannot unsay what they said. It's right there to be replayed repeatedly. Walking it back or worse disavowing you ever said what you said isn't as heflpul as never saying things that are untrue in the first place would be. Why don't they know that?
