Can the prez-elect as prez pardon himself? If he is charged/tried/convicted of crimes can he simply make it all go away?

If he is convicted of fraud and convicted of sexually perverted assaults on women why not just pardon himself? How convenient would that be? Maybe that's why he wanted to be prez. He saw the handwriting on the wall and thought he'd get elected prez by any means possible so he could wield the ultimate power over himself. Pretty clever.

    Yes a Pres can pardon himself.  Perhaps that is why Hillary wanted so much to become Pres. she seen the writing on the wall and was worried about her emails, her personal server, the Clinton Foundation, and any new women to come out and accuse Bill of assault.  

    See how that works....anything can be twisted.

    I'm NOT a lawyer, but I've played one on TV..  In my considered opinion, he'd have to be impeached by the congress before a court of law could intervene..  He doesn't have the power to pardon himself from being impeached, but he MAY have the power to pardon himself from ordinary criminal charges...  The Supreme Court would make that determination.  A Trump Supreme Court would let him have his way with us.

    I asked the question my friend because I heard someone on TV say the ONLY absolute power the prez has is the power to pardon. That is a frightening thought given what he is ..a thoroughly despicable homo sapiens. He will of course pardon all the criminals who have kissed his a** and sucked up to him and who is gonna stop him from doing that? There were thousands of anti-Trump folks hanging out in front of Trump Tower were the almighty lives. I wonder how much love he feels now?  :( Oh. You are/were an actor? Hmmm.
