What's your best/first Leonard Cohen moment?

Another great artist we have no longer living among us. Your music will always live among us though. RIP

Whatever. Better keep sleeping if that's the honor your paying someone who just passed away. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 11, 2016 9:53 AM MST

Hmm. Guess it did not come over clearly then. There will be two ends in communication. A sender and a receiver and they need to be tuned in to each other to avoid misunderstandings. I wish you a lovely day.

That is so sad. I love him. Hallelujah is my favorite. This one is a close second. *sigh*

I love that one too. We surely missed another great performer in any way. Thank you.

  • (Couldn't resist)

"There'll be the breaking of the ancient
    Western code
Your private life will suddenly explode
    There'll be phantoms
There'll be fires on the road
    And the white man dancing
    You'll see a woman
    Hanging upside down
    her fallen gown
And all the lousy little poets
    Coming round
Tryin' to sound like charlie manson
    And the white man dancin'."

And why should you resist. It's a great share. Thank you one more time, Lucy.

  • AAww so glad someone has posted tributes to him.. I adored Cohen.. i discovered him fairly late in life via a friend in Canada.. she always, and I mean always, links me to music which then becomes an obsession for me - and so it was with my first Cohen song.. Aint no cure for love. It was my first and remains my favourite. Very special song.
