It's nice here - 95 F (heat index of 95 F) and sunny.  Normal summer weather.

All we need is a nice ocean breeze and it would be tolerable.  Mostly have stayed in all week, the nighttime is nice, perfect actually.  Googled where in the US it is always 75 degrees, Hawaii came up, Sigh, wish I was there.

It isn't even tolerable at night - still too humid.  Hawaii is too expensive.  Quito, Ecuador is 75 during the day and 65 at night - my perfect weather.

Well, one can still dream of other places, I heard Hawaii is expensive, it's not like I'd ever go there to live. Ecuador is totally out of the question, know nothing about the place, nor would I venture so far, I need to stay here in the US and continue making my doctors rich.

Yes, Ecuador is pretty far, especially if you want to remain close to family, but I have been there and I can tell you that it's a beautiful country, the people are very friendly and kind, the weather is spectacular and the cost of living is very low.  As for medical care - you can probably get a doctor appointment faster there than you can here.

I am used to the heat.  I do stay out of the sun if possible.    And like to run to the water...but have not gotten to this year, yet.

But the heat does melt my customer's wallets.

I am holding up well...I just stay inside. Our heat index was over 100 for four days. Hotter than Miami.

It's been cooler here in the last couple weeks.  We've been in the high  80s mostly.  Before it was mid 90s.

It's getting into the mid-70s here in northern England, and as a vegetable gardener I'm loving it. The plants are in dire need of sunshine and warmth as they have a lot of catching up to do after the slow start to the growing season. It's a joy to see beets and radishes show signs of life within two days of being sown, instead of twelve.

Temperatures may break into the lower 90s in July but probably only for a couple of weeks. A bit out of my comfort zone but tolerable - not enough to make me want to move to Finland, anyway.
