Made a salmon patty mix which didn't turn out too good, the patties fell apart while cooking. Will the mix which has raw eggs in it be ok in the refrigerator over night?
Assuming egg is the only refrigerated ingredient - If it hasn't been left unrefrigerated for too long (1-2 hours) or exposed to heat (e.g. sitting near a hot stove/oven, slightly cooked), it should be fine overnight in the fridge. I wouldn't use it after 72 hours.
Thank you. I've decide to let it go and take the loss on materials, stop trying to save it somehow. I should have video taped my efforts, it would have gone viral, maybe, so funny, a comedy of errors, big ones.
Always better to be safe than sorry. "If in doubt, throw it out". My best baking creations came from trial and error. Sure, some were a tad on the gross side, but that's to be expected. Every great recipe started off as someone's "experiment".
