Republicans wanted Obama/the country to fail. Will Dems return the favor or are they less hateful than Republicans? Why?

Of course Republicans wanted the Obama agenda to fail....it is oppose of the Republican agenda. To go along with Obama's plans also would be ignoring the opinions of the voters who elected them. 

I assume Democrat feel the same way (they are committing crimes....err protesting Trump's win) . And believe their elected Congress people should follow through with the their positions. ie If your Representative is a Dem you expect them to vote accordingly. And would be upset if the voted with Trump and the Republicans on issues.
