For promoting left wing propaganda, globalization and open borders. The media of today is the tool being used to destroy America.

As opposed to the right-wing media which promotes corporatism, militarism, racism, and xenophobia. You're A-OK with that...;-D...

    Not really.

"The Media" is an oligopoly of corporate interests (the figure I see frequently quoted is 6 companies own 80% of  "The Media"). Corporate oligopolies do what they always do: subvert every other value in pursuit of profit.

The reality of The Media being a corporate oligarchy is a failure of people (esp. in the United States) to demand it be otherwise. We used to treat the public airwaves as a public interest and require media companies to operate news agencies at a loss as a cost of licensing.  Those tenats would need to be heavily modified for the Internet age, but there is no reason, in principle, they couldn't be implemented.

  • Yes.

    Sensationalism.

Distraction from the core of important issues.

Insufficient attention to what causes events and movements.

    Insufficient consultation with experts.

    Insufficient intelligent discussion.

    Not being objective enough.

Not showing the whole picture in sufficient detail.

Selling private agendas in sneaky ways.

Loss of responsibility for technically correct editing of language.
