Isn't Spokane a beautiful city?

I have not had the pleasure, Flip.   Why do you love it?  I can guess this is a Trump reference of some sort as I looked up Spokane vids I saw Trump's name linked with the choices.  Whatever. I don't blame the town.  The town is a thing.  The earth the town is in is in Washington.  SO, automatically is going to have some really amazing nature to wonder upon.  That is all I know until I  see this town closer up thanks to you.

Here is my video for those who cannot see videos of Spokane Washington.    Hmmmm..... I hate to be racist but I smell white people.  Lots of them.  It is serene and lovely.  It has  all the elements of any city you love all rolled into one.   IT is very nicely laid out in a beautiful surrounding. I lived in Oak Park, Illinois for a bit and it looked a lot like this but not as majestic due to where Spokane is located versus flat Illinois. That is all I got.   Thank you for making me visit here today.

I used to live there.  It's pleasant, but it's fundamentally a big hick town.  And, yes, it's very white!

OS, I totally noticed that right off.  Hey at least they are not sporting hoods.

Do you live there?    There are some pretty places in the city but surrounding the city is gorgeous.  I like Washington State, particularly the coast.

I wouldn't think of calling it a hick anything.  And, it is definitely a city.  I bought some property up there.

I've never been there, so I couldn't say.

  • Never been there, but I remember for a while my dad's company was considering relocating to Spokane, so I might've had to move there in 3rd grade. Thankfully it didn't happen!

You would have liked it probably.  It's very pretty with the river and falls in the middle of downtown, the Rockies to the East and Cascades to the West.   You might be at UW  now instead of UCDavis. ;)  Did you actually grow up in Sac?

  • It seems beautiful for sure, but I can't imagine not having grown up in California! And yes, I grew up in Sacramento :) So college was less than a half hour away.

    Hello f:

I don't think Spokane is an especially pretty city..  What I remember best, though, is they have B-52's flying all over the place..  Those planes are older than ME..

Maybe you were there during an air show or when something special was going on.  There is an Air Force thing there.  I don't remember B52s during my time there, but maybe I wouldn't know they weren't regular planes.  I'm not very knowledgeable about airplanes and no good at traveling in them but sometimes I have no choice. Hello again, Tm:

B-52's are STILL one leg of our nuclear triad, and they're based there..  I loved seeing them fly around..  Have I mentioned that I'm a pilot?

No.   Is that your occupation, hobby, or just something fun you like to do?  I really really have a hard time flying.  Sometimes it's the only logical way to get from one place to the other.

    Hello again, Tm:

It's something that I love to do, and don't do anymore because it's so expensive..  But, I have my license.

  • "I don't know" ... but if it looks anything like Seattle, then no.
