What male-dominated sport are women more apt to like best? Why?

There are  women who play basketball, baseball, tennis, golf. There are women runners, hurdlers, divers, swimmers. Women ride horses competitively. They have soccer teams. But are there any women who play football or play Polo or Water Polo competitively  or are those still basically sports for males? What about Curling, table tennis, badminton, bowling Cricket, croquet, chess , checkers? Horseshoes? Shuffleboard? Skeet shooting?

  • The growth of women in skeet is outpacing men right now.   It's actually true in most shooting sports.

Two local women shotgunners are going neck and neck shooting 300's right now.  Both at handicaps.

  • Skeet is a discipline in clay pigeon shooting with shotguns.  Actually the most common shooting sport along with trap in the UK.

  • Yep, sorta.  Clay pigeon shooting has different disciplines.  Skeet, trap, sporting clays, and 5 stand being the most popular.  Skeet and trap are similar the difference is where the clays are launched and where the person stands.   Sporting clays and 5stand are more American and Canadian  disciplines I believe.  In sporting clays the shooter walks a trail and the clays can be launched randomly from any direction, angle and height.  Even towards the shooter.   It's meant to recreate shooting at various types of game being flushed. They even name the different launches in sporting clays rabbits( shot low to the ground and in a way that makes the clay seem to hop across the ground, squirrels,  pheasants , ducks, and other small game.  I know skeet and trap are both very popular in the UK but not sure how common 5stand and sporting clay rules are there.  The names are just different rules for clay pigeon shooting.
