Do you have any interesting story to tell about your Thanksgiving holiday?

We had fun celebrating Thanksgiving using a French theme. We had the best food----French cuisine. I set out my Monet landscape and seascape prints for decorations. Many of our invited guests did not come, as things came up in their lives. Some had family emergencies. Nothing you can do about that. But the others that came were fun to be with. One fun thing was that people kept wanting to take those "freeze frame" photo shots they now call "mannequin challenge".  Even the dog got in the shot!

    Oh yeah.  I think this whole Season is going to be memorable.   I'm not sure what is in store, but I am going to think happy thoughts regardless.

  • I work in food services in at a hospital.  On Thanksgiving employees were given a free meal which included turkey, two sides, a salad, pie and fruit punch. All this free. Still there were complaints that a third side had to be purchased...86 cents and that soda had to be purchased.  I was also told we were cheap because we did not have rolls.  I suspect that at a restaurant this meal would have been around $12.00.  Here employees are getting it free and some still find cause to complain.

    I just remember sleeping all day and having a painful and stressful night at work and I hurled a couple times.
