Did you go shopping on Black Friday?

I did, but it was for a child I selected from an Angel Tree at work. I also waited a little later in the day to go so I wouldn't run into all the craziness. It used to be fun to get up at the crack of dawn and go, now.....not so much.

  • Smart choice. It used to be fun and you could actually find good deals. That's not the case any more. :(

    I haven't seen a good deal this year. A lot of stuff I do not need, so there was no need to rush downtown with all the rest of the city. Lol.

  • Same here. I used to go every year with my sister, but it just to be too much. There was actually a police officer directing traffic at the registers in Walmart one year. That's the last time we went. Also, that same year, we were at a toy store and she got the last Scooby Doo toy, some old biddy stole it out of her cart when she wasn't looking.

  • Same here. :) I don't do well in crowds, I have mini anxiety attacks when too many people are around me.

    I went to a local produce market and deli to get some veggies for a salad and some sliced cheese...then promptly went home.
