Have you heard that the Mythbusters build team will have a new show on Netflix?

Only with Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara. Not the other two guys.

  • I am so over those guys.   They aren't entertaining at all.  The look at me I'm such hip geek thing is boring and played out. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 29, 2016 11:10 AM MST

On the one hand, I am of the opinion that every TV show concept eventually runs its course. It seemed to me Mythbusters hung around 1-2 seasons too long and the episodes in the last couple of seasons (especially after Grant, Kari, and Tori left) were of poor quality.

On the other hand, I looked at the trailer in the link and the highlights seemed intruiging. Maybe the new show will take the Mythbusters concept in an entertaining direction which the original producers failed to do.

They kind of got the shaft since it was the last season and I only ever really watched the show because of the three of them.

  • The show kinda took a nosedive around when Scotty left the show.

@Glis -- If you cannot discern the difference between the statements:

    1) Mythbusters was a good show that stayed on the air a couple seasons too long

    2) Oh, those boring "Hey look at me!" faux-hip geeks sucked!

    I cannot help you.

  • I don't need your help SKOS.

All's that is said is that the characters of the build team were entertaining for awhile, then became played out and boring.
