Have any of you ever applied to beta-test PC or mobile device games? I've been doing it for years and love it !

I signed up to a beta test for mortal Kombat XL. I was pretty good at the game and i still am. Sadly, it didn't come out for PC but i still had a ps4.

I think that would be an awesome job. Getting paid to test games? Heck yes. That may be a good opportunity as a side job one day in the future. I'd love to work for Bethesda testing their newest Elder Scrolls games.

I've never played a computer game -- well, apart from a couple of the simple ones written in GW Basic back when DOS was still king. Just didn't catch my interest although I suspect that's because I doubt if I'd be much good at them. I was interest in the Battle of Britain game you mentioned last year and even looked it up, but it was only part of something else I didn't really want.

So, no, I've never done that. It'd be interesting for anybody with a bent that way, though.

I volunteered one time and was not much help.  I lost the password the first day.  I failed at being a beta tester.
