It depends on the type of people you are dealing with, people in leadership roles around the world are not the fuzzy kind people you think they are and you must be as tough as they are in dealing with them. I'm sure Trump has the experience to adjust to any given situation as required. ( I hope )
I truly don't believe he can be helped.. put it this way.. he had an army of advisors and people trying to gag him during the election run up and he STILL came across as an ignorant pleb...idiot...with limited vocabulary and intellect... so if they couldn't prevent him making an utter fool of himself/looking like an idiot..then, what hope is there.. He doesn't have the intellect to change... sadly there are a lot like that too...
