Since there are no Constitutional Requirements for being a SCOTUS justice PET can appoint Alex Jones/David Duke if he wants. Right?

What's to stop him? If the Senate "advises" and consents what's left but the shouting? PET could appoint Putin too. There is nothing requiring a Justice to be an American citizen. No prohibition against foreigners. Nothing. PET can choose whomever he wishes and if the Senate rolls over heck, right?

I know m'dear.  Bannon holds a very powerful job. PET Chief of Staff. PET could make Bannon a Justice of the Supreme Court with Senate approval. Who is gonna stop him? :( Thank you for your reply DWF and Happy Monday! :)

  • He's already denounced David Duke, so we know he won't be appointed.  Whoever he does nominate still has to be approved by the Senet.  All he can do is nominate he doesn't approve them.
