This can be charted like what a lie detector test would look like if Ted Bundy took it. Meaning the chart would spike with peaks and drop with valleys up and down at a dizzying pace. That is what 2016 would look like if I tried to chart it.
I hope I don't have another one like this for a long time.
I think that the political climate in the US and UK has taken a toll on many people. Speaking personally, aside from the sense of impending doom that's been lurking since November 9th, it's been a pretty good year.
A couple of disappointments and frustrations - nothing I could not deal with or overcome. This year has been easier than most others. Finally figured out my direction and purpose. Happiness reigns.

It was unremarkable for most of the year, but the last couple of months have not been good. There was a death in the family, and another family member was diagnosed with cancer. But on the upside there is a new baby as well. Life happens with ups and downs. You face the downs head on, and you cherish the ups.
Hate to break it to you sweet Lucia, a year older isn't defined on one month only. But hey! What's to be sorry about. It's a good reason to keep January and this time I won't be in a similar position as I have been the last two years. Hmm.
Ladies. Ladies..... Now we're all friends here. There's no need to fight and argue. Now come on you two, kiss and make up....... Go on, kiss. Give each other a kiss.
If you count having to put up with the most moronic election in American history as a "difficulty" then yes, this year has been grueling. My personal life was fairly placid this year, however.
