An Answermug friend said "it's so easy to hide behind a keyboard". What if we couldn't? Would folks change their MO's?

What if along with the words we transmit are moving photos of whom we are and what we do/say in our real lives that might pertain to what we are saying on the internet?  Some guy who  pretends to be "tough" is really an old lady in Scranton who gets her kicks that way.  Or some gal who pretends to be a very "hot babe" who is actually a 600 lb Sumo wrestler? Or?  That would take away a lot of the fake that goes on. Would it also take away a lot of the enjoyment we get?

  • I use Skype quite a bit and for a time used the camera for live images while we spoke. Although I know there are plenty of phonies out there, I didn't run into any when I was on Cam. But it would be cool to see what everyone truly looks like. There have been a few people over the years that I wish I could have reached through the screen and punched !

    I remember on a previous site I was on over a year ago where some people made me wonder.  But...I laughed more than anything. Unless I know the person for a very long time I take things with a grain or two or three of salt.
