Our sin nature to me is merely another name for ego. We can no more remove the ego than we can remove water from the ocean. We are ego. We have light and dark and all things physical to contend with. When we shut off the inner noise, we get stillness, the opposite of ego or GOD.
I take a much more positive view.. those of us and our countries that are naturally more liberal tend to treat others better.. and it becomes a nicer place to be and to live
