Why not give the Electoral College appointees access to all the info the CIA uncovered vis a vis Russian intervention in the election? NOW?

What could it hurt for them to know IN ADVANCE of voting what the CIA found that makes the CIA so certain that Russia did the hacking/leaking specifically to help Trump become prez? What harm can Intelligence information do?

    They are not legally bound to do so. What if they don't? What if they put the country first and vote their conscience and it isn't PET who wins? What then? Thank you for your reply CTG and Happy Wednesday to thee!  :)

    To answer, the states as a whole take November 8th as the day they vote their conscience for who they think should be president. They did and the states chose Donald Trump. The Electors are simply a formality. Secondly, in many states it is actually illegal for electors to switch votes. They are called faithless voters if they do so. Personally, I think anyone who becomes faithless should be replaced. I would say the same thing even if it was Clinton that won. My point is that voting one's conscience happens on November 8th; not December 18th.

    Why don't people understand, that the reason Hillary lost, is because she said she will continue Obamas policies, and SHE was the candidate which people don't like because of her record. Obamas policies are nothing to brag about, he will go down as one of the worse and Hillary was going to continue his policies, Gee I wonder why she lost.

    I do find it somewhat fascinating that you cast an election where HRC actually WON THE MAJORITY OF THE VOTES, and would be the President-Elect had 40,000 votes (out of 120 million+ cast) flipped in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, as some sort of dramatic wholesale rejection of President Obama.

    I guess since Der Pumpkinfuhrer keeps Tweeting "It was a landslide", that makes it true...;-D...

    I get it, Trump won based on our system period. Hillary LOST by our system, I'm sorry it's over your head, you and Hilary should get together, she doesn't get it either. have some Kool-Aid.
