What is your favorite nice holiday cookie?

Sugar cookies.

I like these cookies my friend makes that have a Hershey Kiss in the middle.  Also I love Seven-Layer Cookies but am not making them this year.  My mom always made what she called wedding cookies at Christmas. They were covered in powdered sugar and delish!

They were covered in powdered sugar and delish!  And don't forget the divinity...........someone must make that each year.  I tried twice and failed.  Others don't seem to have trouble with it.

Shortbreads are always great.

Gumdrop cookies - made with coconut and cut up spice gumdrops. It's a family favorite and I've never known anyone else who makes them.
