Do you prefer a comforter or blankets?

Right now...both!

In the Summer...light comforter. Winter...both.

Usually both in the winter.  A light blanket OR a light comforter.

I have both right now.

I hate comforters.  Of course I'm now in the tropics and a lightweight cotton blanket is all the cover I need for about six weeks in the Winter.....just a sheet in the Summer.   Even when I was in a very cold part of the country I used blankets and had a cotton chenille spread.

In winter, a couple of lightweight doonas. Start with none due to wood fire. As fire burns down pull up the layers.

In summer, (now,) one linen sheet.

I use a down comforter in the winter, a lighter weight comforter in the Spring and Fall and just a thisn patchwork quilt in the summer when the air conditioner is needed.
