They buy junk houses and fix them up "just good enough" with sub-par items and workmanship. Then the people who buy the house are left fixing all the mistakes that creep up in the next years.
And yes, I know "buyer beware" and get a house inspection and all of that, but it is still unethical, just like all cheap overpriced junk made now.
