Very odd. Trump 's judge sis never appeared at any Trump function/rally/celebration. Never made a speech. Did she vote for Hillary?

  • Well... if she is a judge.. we assume she is well educated.. and has brains... sooooo let's face it.. anyone who has brains wouldn't want to be seen with him... or seen to be associated with him.. especially if she is a good judge - with a conscience.

Not sure you know what you're saying. You may not like Trump, but make no mistake that he has brains - NOBODY with the ability to be elected president lacks brains.

  • Oh trust me I DO know what I am saying! THat's not a mistake I would make.. to be fair the rest of the world is still in disbelief that Americans can have been soooooo stoopid as to have voted a man with the vocabulary of a 5 year old in!! Indeed many 5 year olds would be expected to have a better repertoire than he does!

With upmost respect - I can only think that perhaps many Americans must have even less verbal dexterity than Trump if they have not noticed :P But then again we are told that it was the uneducated plebs that voted for him.. so perhaps they are just too unintelligent to realise how dumb he sounds?

FWIW it would be wrong to say that it takes brains to get elected.. no.. almost never and certainly not in this case! In this case all it took was bullyng, petty attacks on the opposition, a HUGE helping hand from his friends the Russians oh and a whole bunch of people even dumber than Trump is!

WE listen to what Trump says, his soundbites, his tweets... the man looks and sounds like a man with very little intelligence! Sorry if you don't like me saying that, you are entitled to your opinion but let's face it.. if someone looks like a village idiot, acts like one, (cite all his mistakes, his own team having to correct what he says and his many faux pas) then to be fair he probably IS one!  FWIW we have a similar phenomenon here.. Boris Johnson..  we all know he's a twit, but we love making fun of him and people like him.. but clever he surely isnt... I recently heard his sister being interviewed... OMG did she get the brains in that family!!

And talking of brains and prez's there.. do you KNOW how much fun we all used to make of Bush and his mistakes???? Trump is 10x worse!!

Now don't get me wrong.. I LOVE America and I love Americans.. but it's always seemed to me there are almost two kinds of American... sane, nice, intelligent ones and the really, really stoopid.. and boy, oh boy the stupid there are really, really stupid!!

He obviously fooled you into believing the narrative about him being stupid, so he has something on the ball.

I also believe that those who defend anything with arguments like this simplistic silliness, and think they really came up with something clever, need to study debate.

He did manage to tell the difference between a monkey and a camel on one test.  It took him a while but the stable genius succeeded.

Bush wasn't stupid and neither is Trump. You're incredibly naive if you think that a dumb person is capable of being elected, and you fell hook, line, and sinker for the media's anti-Trump narrative.

The fact is that Trump was smart enough to say what many voters wanted to hear and to out-maneuver and defeat the supposedly much smarter Hillary Clinton. Think of the things he said not as a sign of low intellect, but as words chosen to appeal to a great many disaffected voters. And it worked. I cannot talk to someone who is incredibly naive.  That is why I limit such conversations.  I can only take so much spoon-feeding.  Any valid points are completely lost.

What is the point talking to someone who can only say, OH YEAH.  What did the OTHER guy do?

The incredibly naive should be up to snuff by this late date.  Hint hint. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at July 23, 2018 9:40 AM MDT

That's OK, I wasn't talking to you. But you know everything, don't you?

His sister is a sitting judge... maybe she feels it is inappropriate for her to weigh in on an election.
As I understand it she is also a liberal judge also a possible reason for her silence.
But I believe most likely she is a private person who doesn't like the spotlight and making any sort of a comment would put her in the spotlight no matter what side she was on. She would be attacked either way.
