In 2011 Russians were protesting a rigged election. Election officials were caught stuffing ballot boxes to get Putin elected. Even with all the cheating/rigging, Putin barely won. In 2011 then Secretary of State called Putin out on it and supported the protesters. At that moment Putin decided to destroy her. Another thin-skinned despot authoritarian demagogue who can't take disagreement/disapproval.
