    No I didn't know that.

The latest "craze" is sailing in Viking ships.

This is a joke if you don't get it.

My daughter almost called the police on some guy. He looked like he was following her and taking her picture. She watched him for about 10 min. He kept pointing his phone her direction. He finally went inside. She was talking to a friend. And the guy came out again and was doing it again but this time seemed to not be looking her way. Her friend told her her was playing Pokemon.

I took my boy into the Pokemania store with his cousins while they were visiting here... He belted out the most hilarious statement. Mind you, he's never been into Pokemon. It just doesn't appeal to him I guess.

Anyway, his cousins love it and they wanted to get something from the store. So he went up to the glass case where they have the collectible cards and noticed the price tags. He looked over at me, slack-jawed and shouted: "$15??? Mom, that's a total SCAM! You should tell (insert cousin's name here), you have to tell him this is such a scam!"

I looked up and everyone in the store was staring at us. The clerk was shooting daggers at me with her eyes. lol It took everything I had to keep from falling on the floor laughing. It was too funny.

Haha. Good luck with that. The game is so popular the company's servers have been breaking and they had to limit the number of new accounts. When I finally got my kids in after fighting with it for more than 24 hours, I felt like I had won the lottery.

Yes, this is happening a lot. There was a police station that had to put up notices warning people not to lurk.

    lol

When my oldest was into Pokemon years ago, the dollar store carried them, but only in Japanese. My son got several decks from Santa that year... Apparently Santa picked them up for him in Japan and brought them over special delivery. Made them twice as special. lol

They is a "lure" fuction in the game.  People are using is to get the players to come to a location.  They the people are robbing them.

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/crime/bs-md-umd-robberies-20160712-story.html

There are stations, where you can pick up pokemon, and there are gyms for training. These are placed in landmarks all over the place. For example, a lot of parks and churches are marked at stations. I suppose it is possible to lie in wait at a station, waiting for a player to come along, and it sounds like that's maybe what happened here. However, all the stations by me have become hubs. People are all over them, looking for pokemon. My son even said he was down at a local park (station) and that people driving by were yelling "Yeah! Pokemon!" So, people know the stations, and there is a lot of kinship between players. I think you're a lot more likely to run into another player who is friendly than to get robbed at a station. Even if the other players see you as competition, there's still a lot of traffic at the stations and it's probably a dumb place to try to rob someone.
