Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» In the olden days being a white supremacist/racist got you condemned/vilified/shunned. Now it gets you to the White House. Progress, right?
I think you must be very young Rosie, it is not that long ago you would not get into the White House unless you were White supremacist / racist. That was only 60 years ago
I'm 79 sweetie! Young I am not. Lincoln freed the slaves. KKK used to hide under white sheets because they were all chickensh** jacka**es . They used to LYNCH blacks and do their infamous burning crosses on the ground. Now they proudly strut about without their sheets knowing full well that their time has come. They are the chosen ones now. They are in charge. Soon David Duke will be appointed to some important White House Job. Steve Bannon/Racist Supreme, will see to that. How old are you Maurice? To what do YOU refer? Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday! :)

I mean, 60 years ago, US Federal policies were for the White man. Blacks could not even eat in the same place as whites. Anyone running for office aimed their campaign at the White voters. This is my opinion, not necessarily correct. But can you see Ike sitting down with a person of another race and saying "Brother, I need your vote".. never.
60 years ago our president was Ike. I don't think he was white supremacist.. JFK followed him. I don't think he was either.. Truman preceded Ike. He wasn't a racist..
In the olden days, being an obnoxious, intolerant, arrogant, narcissistic, narrow minded, divisive, contradictory and evasive community organizer would bring a certain degree of disdain. We've had a chance to see how that works in the Oval Office. What's your point, other than the usual insidious name calling we've come to expect?
Clearly we are Lulu'sMom. Those who are supportive of it get very hoity toity about it. As if the problem only exists in the words we use and not in actual reality. Which of course is pure bullsh**. Saying something is NOT SO doesn't make it NOT SO. SIGH. Thank you for your reply sweetie! I wonder what other gems we will be privileged to read today written by the "it isn't so-ers"? :)
