Do you ever think dead relatives communicate with you by music?

Everywhere I go I hear Cher's "Do you believe in life after love?" and Tom Petty's "Free Falling."
I feel like do you believe in life after love I really don't think you're strong enough is to tell me that I can't get over being cheated on and I should get counseling.
I fell like the song free falling is telling me that I'm drinking too much and am in a downward spiral.
Do you think my dead relatives send me these songs?

  • In my opinion, no.

But if you are perceiving messages in such songs it may be that your subconscious is trying to attract your attention. Maybe you should think about it. That's your choice.

While I do believe we can receive messages from those that have passed on, I think in this case Didge is right. As someone who has been cheated on and devastated from it, I can truly appreciate how your are feeling. Now you need to find your power song. Something like Rachel Platten's Fight song.
