Great places to meet a potential lesbian partner?

Category: Dating Tips.

I'm far from any expert in dating, not to speak about handing our tips. Never take my word for the truth in this field. Ahem. That's why I look up guides to get inspiration, or be confirmed in my idea being great. Yus. Found this article, and all wasn't new to me. I'm that good. Ha! Anyway, do you have any secrets to share about a great place to meet a potential lesbian partner?

Top 5 Places to Meet a Potential Partner (In No Particular Order)

5. What do you care about?

Music, animals, nature, fashion, art? Go do what you care about: take guitar lessons (or whatever instrument you choose), take a painting class, or a cooking class. That way, even if you don’t meet a cute girl working, you’ll at least have more to talk about on a future date or you’ll be able to play her a song, cook her favorite meal, or draw her portrait. “Paint me like one of your French girls!” is basically what comes to mind there, hopefully it’ll work out for you too . . . just not with the same ending as Titanic. ;)

4. Where would/do YOU hang out?

Start there. That way if you run into a cute girl, you’ll know that you more than likely have common interests or friends.

3. I know you may not think that the internet is the way to go, but seriously, what could it hurt?

Making a profile on a dating site or going to a chat room to talk to other lesbian/bisexual women can hurt exactly no one. Be careful about meeting people you meet online though; if you do want to meet up, always meet in a public, well-lit place even if you think you’re safe around her, because on the internet, it’s hard to be sure. However, I know a few happy couples who have met online and are doing very well.

2. Go do what you love!

Nothing is more attractive than a happy, passionate, and confident woman. Go see bands or musicians you like, go to art galleries, clubs with your friends or whatever it is you like to do. This is similar to the “take classes” type of idea above, except that you’d normally do these things anyway, except my point is that it pays to be aware of who is around you. Next time you go to a club, an art gallery, the movies, or a show, keep your eyes open for attractive women around you. If you see a woman who you think is single (and hopefully gay, though it always happens that they’re straight, right?) then go talk to her! At the very least, you might get a kick-ass friend out of the ordeal, and have someone with common interests as you to hang out with.

1. Actually, this one deserves to be number one: ask around!

That is how I met my fiancée, though it was unintentional. Honestly, the best relationships are unintentional; it’s true that love will find YOU, not the other way around. If you stop looking, you’ll find her. BUT, if you are impatient, as many of us (humans in general, not just LGBTQ lol) are, just ask your friends if they know anyone with whom you might be compatible. Ask your best friend to play “match-maker” or something. Even if he/she doesn’t set you up with “THE ONE,” at least you’ll get a date out of it and have some fun while getting out of the house.
