Trump was informed about Flynn's lies January 26. He did not inform Mike Pence until February 9. Why didn't Trump tell Pence on January 26 ?

What possible reason could Trump have had for excluding his Veep from such important information? Is that going to be how Trump rolls? Keeping his veep in the dark about things?  Could you work with someone who did that to you?
