I guess whether friend or foe all countries spy on one another and hack one another don't they? They all hack and get hacked back. WHY?

Such bullsh**! Why PRETEND to be friends and allies if everyone is spying on everyone and hacking everyone? That means no one trusts anyone. Why the charade/masquerade? Why use words that don't apply like friend and ally? So you have enemies who want to kill you and enemies who are less likely to do so. Isn't that really what's going on here? A bunch of phonies. Worldwide. Sad. :(

  • Hi my2cents,

I think the lack of trust and verify, is what has created a more problematic issue we find ourselves in. Not by any political party, but the lack of trust within our own. Forget about verify, we can't even settle on which store to support or boycott.

I believe more in the saying: for one step forward, we take two backwards.

Do you have friends you don't trust m2c? Why would you call them friends? Thank you for your reply! :)

That's politics for you everyone has hidden agendas; I just wish people where more honest it's so annoying I have interviewed many people who say what you want to hear where I find myself looking at better ways to challenge their thought processes. All the best to you RosieG

Ditto kiddo! I wish people were more honest too! I do! It's just that some folks are convinced that the lie is true and that the true is a lie. Go figger! Makes it hard to get through to them. I take that back. Makes it impossible which is why The Donald is where he is. His lies sold. The truth of others was ignored and stayed on the shelf.  Thank you for your reply Rob . Right backatcha m'dear!  All the best to you too! :)

  • The other option is just being foolish.   You gotta take care of and look out for your own first.

If you have friends you don't trust they are not friends. At least not in my world. Thank you for your reply Glis.

  • Friends and foreign nations with their own interest are different things entirely. You're using a false comparison.
More like business partners than friends. Think of it as investing or teaming with another company.  Would you just take their word or investigate their plan before getting involved?  Would you not want to be informed about what they are doing with your name and money? Would you just go on blind faith that they are doing right by you?
    Same thing here.

Not to mention the fact that your ally today can be your enemy tomorrow with a little change of leadership or policy.

  • Just because your friends are allies doesn't mean  all your allies are your friends.

No I am not. I am using the EXACT wording of The Donald. He says Israel is our best FRIEND and Ally. "There is no better friend or ally to the United States than Israel".  Save your criticism for the source Glis. It did not ORIGINATE with me. It is what I hear from the Politicians day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. Go after them. Pay attention to what they say. Your quibbling should be directed at them. I am  just the messenger.

  • How about you direct your whining and quibbling at them and save us from your thin skinned rants instead of getting pissy the moment you don't like somebodies response. See how it works both ways?
Christ almighty woman, are you always this passive-aggressive and thin-skinned or just on here?

Rosie, as sad as it is, spying on our "frenemies" is an old world problem.
We just happen to be living in a time in which we all have the benefit of utilizing the latest technology.
