In the more devout islamic factions dancing and singing are taboo / haram.. So singing about religious issues as Amjad Sabri did was doubly evil as far as the devout true wahhabi sunni muslims of Pakistan are concerned.. They are carrying out their jihad operations against singers in the muslim world (cleaning out their own house) before they start their attacks against singers in the infidel world..
No. Not cultural. But I bet there is a serial killer at work with the singers of the Voice. Someone seeking revenge. Someone jealous and nuts.
