It is kind of a funny way to say things these days. It's amazing how language is ever changing. Walking with one foot directly in front of the other does give them a sexy little wag on their behinds. Cats do have the ability to walk effortlessly in this fashion as well. To answer your question, here is where the term originally came from :)
