Yearly base salary..$174K. Days per year worked in 2015 (130 days) , 2009 (188), 2007 (153). US Congress members. Great gig, ain't it?

Meanwhile in the REAL WORLD the median income for the average US worker was $50,500 and the days worked were about 261!   Isn't that swell? Your tax dollars at work! Of course the $174K doesn't  include all the bennies and perks they get. That's just added icing on their cake! :(
