Smart Pols value their constituents all year long. A few only value them at election time. They do not want to be held accountable. Why?

All they want from you is your vote. They don't want any embarrassing/hard questions or attitude or holding them to account for their actions or lack thereof. What is the likelihood that such pols would get your vote again?  Why?
