Yes, there is a downside ... because you can't get the full experience of life that way...which arguably may be what we came her to Planet Earth for...
With too much wealth/privilege/etc., you can end up just playing games and marking time...doesn't even bring you contentment.
I agree with thee. Why are we here? I like to think it is to be useful/kind/helpful to one another. We haven't done a very good job of that so far but perhaps there is hope that in the future we will. Where there's life there's hope. Right? Thank you for your thoughtful reply VirginiaL! :) :):):)
